School Dress Code
Students should arrive each day wearing the Heritage Academy approved uniform. Polo shirt colors are hunter green (PreK – 4th) and navy blue (5th – 8th). Examples of these shirt colors and sizes are available in the school office. Order forms are also available in the school office. All students are required to have the monogrammed logo on all shirts. Both long sleeve and short sleeve shirts will be available in addition to polo’s.
Optional plaid skorts are available and approved for girls grades K-8.
Boys– Uniform pants include gray slacks or shorts. Undershirts may be worn under the uniform shirt as long as they are black or white.
Girls– Uniform pants include slacks (gray), shorts (gray), skorts (plaid). Hem of skirts or shorts may be no higher than 3 inches above the middle of the knee. Tights may be worn as long as they are black or white. Only solid colored tights will be acceptable to wear. Undershirts may be worn under the uniform shirt as long as they are black or white.
Shoes– All shoes must be closed-toed tennis shoes. No flip-flops, Crocs, sandals, moccasins, or house shoes will be allowed. Shoes must be a solid color. No neon strips, no lights, no shoes with wheels.
Socks– All socks must be solid black or white colors only. No neon or other colored socks will be allowed.
Hair– Student’s hair is to be clean and well-groomed. Unusual coloring or excessive hairstyles (e.g., red, blue, purple, mohawks etc.) are not allowed. Boy’s hair may not go past the shoulders and should be out of the student’s eyes.
