Charter schools are public schools that operate with an agreement (or charter) with a state, school district or governmental entity to provide a significantly enhanced education that in many instances outpaces expectations often observed in the conventional public schooling setting.
Our schools are open to all students, do not charge tuition, have no religious affiliation and must abide by the same state and federal testing, financial, anti-discrimination, health and safety regulations as all public schools. We generally have higher levels of parent, student and community involvement and often realize advanced student performance.
Heritage Academy charter schools are small by design, which gives the campuses a private school atmosphere where parents, faculty, and staff can collaborate for the benefit of each child. While we maintain a small private school environment, our campuses are established, tuition-free public schools of choice.
